Up to 100x brighter than conventional dyes; our PE and APC alternatives are about 10x brighter. They work in flow cytometry, immunoassays (e.g. Luminex, MSD), ELISA, FLISA, and IHC. They help most with rare or low-expressed targets.

Standard: 405, 488, 556, 647 and 750 nm (Alexa-like), plus an ~800 nm dye. In stock for anti-mouse Fc: AF488, PE-like and AF647, plus a BV421 alternative. Polymer dyes without an NHS-reactive form (BUV, RB) are not yet compatible.

Monoclonal Fc binder (human, mouse IgG1, rabbit, rat)
Polyclonal Fc binder (human, mouse IgG1, rabbit, rat, goat)
Polyclonal L+H (human, mouse IgG1, rabbit, rat)
Streptavidin (binds to biotinylate antibodies)
Yes, you can multiplex with the monovalent binders. Pre-incubate each primary antibody with its beacon (molar 1:1 or 1:2, 20 min), optionally quench free binder with Fc block, then mix. Validated in flow, not yet in IHC.

About 5 MDa and 50 nm long; smaller variants (~700 kDa, up to 30 dyes) are available. Concentrations refer to the streptavidin (55 kDa) or other binder (~e.g. IgG-like 150 kDa), not the whole beacon.
-
PBS with EDTA, FBS or BSA and 0.1% azide are fully compatible. We ship at pH 7–8. Pure DMSO and gold surfaces may need an adjusted formulation. Tested on FFPE; cryo sections, clearing and expansion microscopy are not yet tested.

Yes. Send us at least 0.5 mg; we couple the beacon and send it back in about 2 weeks. A feasibility run costs about 3,500.00 €, enough for 100 tests. The FlexAble Fc beacon or biotin plus streptavidin beacons oftentimes work without custom conjugation.
-
Off-the-shelf Flow Cytometry kits come in 25, 100 and 250 tests, starting at 350.00 € per kit. A Core+Booster bundle with 25 tests is 540.00 €. Quotes are valid for 30 days; all products are RUO. We don't offer discounts, but ask us about current promotions.
-
Initial evaluations run as paid trials, ideally with shared data or an application note in return. Custom conjugates are not sampled free of charge.
-
In-stock reagents (UB Flow kits, standard beacons) ship within a week of ordering, at the latest
Streptavidin beacons with special dyes (e.g. AF532) ship within 1-2 weeks
Custom conjugates with your antibody or protein ship within about 2 weeks after receipt
Custom beacons with new dyes ship within 3-4 weeks, depending on material characteristics

Every shipment includes SDS, CoA, product description and protocols e.g. for flow cytometry or IHC. The exact composition is proprietary.

At 4 °C, protected from light: more than 2 months. At −20 °C: more than 6 months; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, aliquot instead. Store blocking buffer at 4 °C.
-
Every lot is checked for dyes per beacon and for target binding. Custom conjugates are purified by AEX and checked by SDS-PAGE.
-
For flow cytometry: About 5-20 nM final concentration
For IHC: About 1 µg/ml or less
Flex beacon to primary antibody: Molar 1:1 (no blocking needed)
Blocking buffer: 5 µl per 100 µl final volume
-
1. Add Fc block first, especially with serum containing human IgG.
2. Lower the beacon concentration, e.g. to 0.1 or 0.05 µg/ml.
3. Titrate the primary antibody.
No spectral crosstalk has been reported so far; you may need to lower the laser power.

Yes, protocols are available as PDFs for flow cytometry (Core and Booster Kit), IHC (FFPE), flex beacon incubation, and cell staining. They ship with the product, and we help adapt them to your assay.
